Southern Pines Business

One of the great results we have seen from our Reindeer Fun Runners Survey is the positive economic impact the event has on Southern Pines.  51% of all responders said they stayed in Southern Pines after the event to shop and dine.  With almost 2,000 runners + 1,000 fans, that’s a lot of people, and a great thing for the merchants of Southern Pines.

Runners from everywhere…
Many of our runners were from out of town this year.  The 2010 event drew runners from 112 different cities in North Carolina, and 14 different states.  We fielded calls on where to stay, where to eat, and what to do after the race.  It’s exciting to be able to introduce so many people to what we love about Southern Pines!
