We are thrilled that the Sandhills Race Series, born at a Reindeer Fun Run meeting in 2010, has grown to be such a success. This year 14 races (maybe more) will be a part of the Spring & Fall series, and we are looking to expand into an Adventure Series too! This is just a “SHOUT OUT” to all of those who help to make the SRS so much fun to be a part of! Without their hard work, dedication to their events and the causes the serve, and a desire to help each other, the SRS wouldn’t be
We know it is early, but believe it or not May is when we usually start sharing the Reindeer Fun Run on event calendars, creating forms, and getting the website updated. And May is just around the corner. But in order to do that, we have to have our logo figured out. We have changed the logo each year, and we want to continue that tradition. We’d love to know what you think we should do to this year’s logo!
Here is a look back…

It is almost here! We wanted to pass along some information that we get asked about a lot…
Packet pick-up starts Friday at noon. Your best bet is to let the first rush get through and come between 1:00 and 8:00 (please don’t come early, we won’t be ready). This year we have moved packet pick-up to Page Memorial Fellowship Hall which is right at the starting line on 104 South Poplar Street. We will also be collecting Cans & Coats for K2 Solutions Annual Drive at packet-pickup. Please bring what you can.
On race day
We are very excited to offer this new service for the Reindeer Fun Run! This year, both you and your spouse can run! Rugg Rats will be on-site for child care at Page Memorial Nursery (at the starting line). Call 910-695-0014 to make reservations. A portion of the proceeds will go back to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sandhills through the Reindeer Fun Run. — at Page Memorial United Methodist Church.
Meridian Zero Degrees was already a supporter of the Boys & Girls Club of the Sandhills when they came on board with the Reindeer Fun Run in 2011 and we are so glad to have them as a sponsor!
Meridian Zero Degrees offers self-service solutions and is based in the Aberdeen area. Manufacturing kiosks and other self-service devices, Meridian Zero Degrees is the only top-tier self-service provider that has a complete metal fabrication in house! Make sure to check them out and don’t forget to come out and support the Boys & Girls Club at the Reindeer Fun Run on December 1st.
