Scrambled Egg Nog Jog
For those of you who didn’t know – the Egg Nog Jog got off to an earlier than expected start when the siren accidentally burst when handing over the megaphone. Those kids were primed and ready, and they took off fast. It was a little more crowded than we intended, but it sure was fun seeing the whole herd running together. Hopefully they all had a great time!
Southern Pines' Biggest Race Gets Bigger
Early registrations have been flying in – and we’re excited! This will be the biggest Reindeer Fun Run yet, with every level of runner and walker well represented. The finale to the Sandhills Race Series first season and the new 10k is bringing out the serious runners, and the costumes, fantastic live music, food, fun and games are there for folks just looking for a good time and some exercise. The Chick-fil-A Egg Nog Jog and Kids Zone is also adding some serious fun to the event, with Pony Rides, Santa, obstacle course, along with the crowd favorite 1/2 mile kid’s run making it a great day for the whole family. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone there – and remember, 100% of proceeds go to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sandhills!
