A thank you from the Reindeer Fun Run Committee…
As the year draws to a close, we at the Reindeer Fun Run want to take the time to thank you for everything you did to make the 7th annual Reindeer Fun Run possible. All of this would not be possible if it weren’t for you, our volunteers, who gave time, energy, and effort every step of theRead the rest of this entry »

Congratulations again to all the runners, and the team that planned the 1 in 8k in Pinehurst, NC. John Eastman and Pinehurst Radiology put on a seasoned first year event. Pinehurst Radiology is committed to fitness, and has again agreed to be a major sponsor of this year’s Reindeer Fun Run – and we really appreciate it!
For those that were wondering, the name and length of the run comes from the fact that 1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer. Here’s to hoping for longer runs in the future…

If you ran in the 2010 Reindeer Fun Run, please take a moment to complete our Reindeer Fun Runner Survey. It is REALLY QUICK, and will help us make improvements next year. The 2010 Reindeer Fun Run has just passed our 2009 total for runners – and there is another week to register! Awesome! We want every year to be better than the year before, and we are excited to show off everything we have done to make that true again this year.
It is going to take 150 volunteers to put on the event this year. ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY! Crazy. Traffic control, set-up, registration, food & beverage stands, the huge Chick-fil-A Kids Zone, the After Party, and a few surprises along the way.

The finale to the Sandhills Race Series first season and the new 10k is bringing out the serious runners, and the costumes, fantastic live music, food, fun and games are there for folks just looking for a good time and some exercise. The Chick-fil-A Egg Nog Jog and Kids Zone is also adding some serious fun to the event, with Pony Rides, Santa, obstacle course, along with the crowd favorite 1/2 mileRead the rest of this entry »
Melanie Weston is the winner of our facebook “Guess the Number of Runners” competition. Some were closer on the 5k, and others on the 1/2 mile jog, but Melanie was really close on both. Her total of 900 was just 37 off our final count of 863. Congrats! We hope you like your prize.
