The Southern Pines Rotary invited us to talk at a meeting in 2010, and instantly recognized how they could help the kids in our community through the Reindeer Fun Run and the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sandhills.
The Southern Pines Rotary Club is very active in our local community. On any given week, you may see a Rotarian doing one of the following:
- Working in the food pantry at the Sandhills Moore Coalition for Human Care
- Picking up trash on the side of a highway
- Loading food items into a moving truck for Pack the Truck to feed the hungry
- Providing dictionaries for all third-grade students in the county through partnerships with other Clubs…
