Since the race is virtual this year, and the roads won’t be closed, we are not recommending the normal course for 2020. The awesome Aberdeen Police and Aberdeen Fire always keep us safe, but since they won’t be there for your run, we are promoting routes with less traffic and slower speed limits :-) We will be posting alternative routes in the coming weeks, or you can create your own!

This addition to the Reindeer Fun Run is USATF certified and takes runners through beautiful downtown and Bethesda neighborhoods of Aberdeen. With long, sloping curves, and few sharp corners, this course separates from the 5k after the first mile and tours Bethesda before returning to the 5k at mile 5 to take advantage of the long, final downhill run into downtown and food, music and fun at the After Party!
